WHAT IS THE SHARED SHUTTLE?
A Shared Shuttle is a transfer service where passengers traveling in the same direction share the same vehicle.
For example, if you book a transfer from Rome City to Civitavecchia Cruise Port, the shuttle may pick up other travelers staying in Rome who are also heading to the port at a similar time. This allows passengers to share the journey while still enjoying a comfortable and reliable transfer.
The Shared Shuttle is a door-to-door service, meaning the driver will pick you up directly at your hotel or accommodation in Rome and drop you off at the Civitavecchia Cruise Terminal.
All shared transfers are operated using the same luxury vehicles used for private transfers, ensuring comfort, safety, and professional service throughout the journey.
To keep the transfer efficient and minimize travel time, each vehicle makes a maximum of four stops (pick-ups or drop-offs).

IS THE SHARED SHUTTLE AVAILABLE FOR ALL DESTINATIONS?
No. The Shared Shuttle service is available only on selected routes and at specific times, mainly designed to connect Rome and Civitavecchia Cruise Port.
FROM ROME CITY CENTER TO CIVITAVECCHIA CRUISE PORT
The Shared Shuttle is available between 10:00 AM and 12:55 PM and operates only from Rome city center.
Pickup is provided directly at your hotel or accommodation in central Rome. Since the service may include other passengers traveling to the port, the exact pickup time may vary slightly. Any adjustment (up to 30 minutes earlier or later) will be communicated by email the day before the service.
Once the shuttle leaves Rome, the journey to Civitavecchia Cruise Port takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT OR FIUMICINO TOWN TO CIVITAVECCHIA PORT
The Shared Shuttle service is not available directly from Fiumicino Airport terminals.
However, it may be available from hotels located in the Fiumicino Airport area, such as:

Other nearby hotels in Fiumicino
The transfer from Fiumicino hotels to Civitavecchia Port takes approximately 1 hour.
FROM CIVITAVECCHIA CRUISE PORT TO ROME OR FIUMICINO
There are scheduled Shared Shuttle departures from Civitavecchia Cruise Port at the following times:

When booking a Shared Shuttle, please select one of these departure times.
If you are traveling to Rome, the service is available only to destinations in Rome city center.
Travel time after leaving the port is approximately:
1 hour to Fiumicino Airport or Fiumicino town
1 hour and 30 minutes to Rome city center, depending on traffic conditions.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SHARED SHUTTLE AND THE PRIVATE TRANSFER?
The main difference between a Shared Shuttle and a Private Transfer is how the vehicle is used.
A Private Transfer is reserved exclusively for you and your group. The vehicle and driver are dedicated only to your booking, and the transfer runs directly from your pickup location to your destination without additional stops. This option offers the highest level of comfort, flexibility, privacy, and travel efficiency.
A Shared Shuttle, on the other hand, is a service where you share the vehicle with other passengers traveling in the same direction and at similar times. For this reason, the shuttle may make a few additional stops to pick up or drop off other travelers along the route.
Both services provide professional drivers and comfortable vehicles, but a private transfer guarantees a direct door-to-door journey, while the shared shuttle is a more economical option that allows passengers to share the ride.
THE PRIVATE TRANSFER IS AVAILABLE FOR ALL DESTINATIONS?
Yes, the Private Transfer is available for all destinations.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO PICK-UP (OR DROP OFF) MY GROUP FROM DIFFERENT HOTELS?
Yes it is possible. If your group is staying in two different hotels, we can pick-up (or drop off) them from (or to) both hotels with the same reservation. This is possible for PRIVATE SHUTTLE only from/to Rome and only if the two hotels are both located in the center of Rome.
Any additional drop off or pick-up may incur in an extra-cost starding from €20.

About the booking
HOW DOES THE RESERVATION WORK?
The booking process is very simple.
- Use our booking form, filling in all fields carefully.
- Choose the type of service you like and send the reservation.
- Once the reservation has been completed you will receive an email with the summary of your reservation and an ACTION REQUIRED.
Clicking on the link of your mail you will confirm the service and you will receive the voucher.
If you choose to pay online, at the end of the reservation you will automatically be redirected to Stripe website. Once the payment is complete and the financial department will confirm the payment you will receive the email with confirmation and the voucher of the service.
It is mandatory to show the voucher to the driver. You can print it or show a digital copy on an electronic device.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You can cancel or modify your reservation until 24 hours before the day of the service without additional cost. If your service has been prepaid online, you will be reimbursed the full amount less taxes (6%).
PAYMENT METHODS
We offer 3 methods of payment:
- Cash to the driver
- Credit card online via paypal (+15% of taxes)
- Credit card to the driver (+10% of taxes)

WHO WILL BE MY DRIVER?
Our system is designed to ensure maximum serenity for the customer. The day before the booking date, the customer will receive an email with the details of the driver assigned: Photo, phone number and email. The customer can communicate directly with the driver if necessary.

BAGGAGE REGULATION
For our Civitavecchia port transfers between Rome, Fiumicino Airport, and the cruise terminal, each passenger is allowed one large suitcase and one small carry-on bag, within the total luggage capacity of the booked vehicle.
Our sedans and minivans are carefully assigned based on the number of passengers and luggage, ensuring a comfortable and safe transfer between Civitavecchia Cruise Port, Rome city center, and Rome airports.
If you are traveling with additional luggage, oversized suitcases, or special items, an extra charge may apply. In some cases, the service may require a larger vehicle or an additional vehicle if the luggage exceeds the standard capacity of the booked transfer.
Please note that wheelchairs, electric mobility scooters, or similar mobility equipment may require additional space in the vehicle and may therefore generate an extra charge. In most cases, this supplement is automatically calculated by our online booking system during the reservation process.
To guarantee a smooth and punctual Civitavecchia cruise port transfer, we recommend indicating the exact number of passengers, suitcases, and any special equipment when completing your reservation.

For those travelers who have problems getting in or out of the vehicle alone, we can offer ramp-powered vehicles. Due to the space reserved for the wheelchair user, the luggage space is limited.
